house sign Ownership1What does it mean to be fully-engaged in your spiritual walk?

That’s a question that churches allow to go unanswered far too often. It doesn’t come naturally—but when you understand how to grow spiritually—its like shifting from 1st to 5th gear in your car—it’s an amazing difference. We recognize that taking the next step into full engagement is often something that requires a chance to ask questions and learn a little more about the church’s history and goals—you need to feel that you agree with the strategy we have, and that you can trust us. So we invite you to spend 4 weeks in our class discussion to get the big picture about the spiritual life, and how we encourage you to put your lives in high gear in your involvement at oneChurch. Paul, one of Jesus’ followers who started the church encouraged them with these words:

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?
Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
~ 1 Corinthians 9:24-25

Watch the introductory video below, download our summary sheet of the 10 ideas of membership, and let us walk you through how we have designed oneChurch to help you get fully-engaged in your spiritual growth.

Habits of those who are “fully-engaged”

  • Daily Personal Time with God
  • Worshiping & Serving on Sunday mornings
  • Being Relationally Engaged through Groups
  • Investing in and Inviting People into a Relationship with Jesus

Many times this full-engagement leads to Leadership and a Ministry Calling as well…those steps are not for everyone, but they also form part of full-engagement in the Christian life.
